Thank you for your interest in our yearly maintenance scheme for your central heating system, of course, our idea is to keep prices lower than any competitor.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CENTRAL HEATING
1. COVER FOR COMPLETE CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM, LISTED AS FOLLOWS:-
1.1 Central heating system
The central heating unit and gas supply from the appliance isolating cock, including pump, thermostatic radiator valves, motorised valves and cylinder thermostat; time, temperature and pressure controls, radiators, pipework, hot water cylinder and cold water tank, feed and expansion tank and primary flueing.
Warm air unit
Ductwork, heat emitters with any integral circulator providing domestic hot water.
1.2 Priority attention
Customers covered will be given priority to same day call out to breakdowns or failure in any system, subject to any abnormal workload or labour availabilities.
1.3 Annual visit
Inspection will be made of the central heating appliance, once a year to clean and adjust as necessary. A visual and safety inspection of the whole system will also be carried out, and any faults will be rectified
1.4 Breakdown
Free labour and parts
No charge will be made for parts, material or labour in respect of repairs on reported faults.
2. PAYMENT AND RENEWAL OF CONTRACT
2.1 Payment will be due on date contract is signed and every subsequent year.
2.2 Payment of the annual contract can only be accepted either by cash or cheque
2.3 Any notification of possible increase of charges, or acceptance, on the part of the company of further renewals will be advised prior to the anniversary date of the first signed contract.
2.4 Gold plan contract will continue providing payment is maintained by the customer, subject to termination with sufficient notice from either the company or the customer.
2.5 The company reserves the right to refuse to offer renewal of any service contract.
3. CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP
3.1 If at anytime the ownership of the property in which the central heating system is situated changes, the new owner shall reap the benefit of the remainder of the period for which the annual payment has been remitted.
3.2 No refund will be available for the unexpired part of the service contract.
4. PROVISION OF SPARE PARTS
4.1 Whenever possible, replacement parts or components will be the same or on the same level as the parts being replaced. Although no responsibility can be taken for any delays in the provision of components or parts by suppliers.
5. REPLACEMENT OF CENTRAL HEATING APPLIANCE
5.1 The contract does not cover the replacement of any central heating appliance if at anytime the component or spare parts are not reasonably available.
6. CONDITION OF THE CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM
6.1 The company will not accept responsibility for any inadequacy attributed to the original design and makes no warranty as to the fitness for purpose or condition of system. At any time the company reserves the right to withold any contract offered for reasons of safety, accessibility for servicing or obsolete spare parts.
7. EXCLUSIONS ---------- THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE EXCLUDED FROM THE GOLD PLAN CONTRACT.
7.1 Programming of the timing and temperature controls.
7.2 The Replacement of any decorative parts.
7.3 Cold water feeds - outlet from cold water tank.
7.4 Any domestic water supply from the hot water cylinder or gas appliance to and including taps.
7.5 The fabric of the building or pipework and the flue pipework buried in it.
7.6 Any defect caused through malicious or willful action, negligence, misuse or third party interference.
7.7 Any defect or damage caused by fire, lightning, explosion, flood, storm, tempest, frost, impact or other extraneous cause.
7.8 Any consequential damage or loss arising as a result of a defect occurring in the central heating appliance or system.
7.9 Any defect or damage occurring from a failure of the water or electric supply.
7.10 Any work from descaling or hard water scale deposits.
If you wish to apply for the “gold plan” scheme, your cover will start from the month that your cheque or cash is received. The cost per calendar year will be £155.00 for conventional boilers and £175 for combination boilers.
Your central heating system will be serviced annually FREE of charge in the month prior to the renewal date.
